Privacy Policy
Plain language. No legalese. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who We Are
SA Picture Day is an independently owned and operated photography company based in San Antonio, Texas. We photograph schools, daycares, dance studios, martial arts dojos, and sports leagues across San Antonio, Austin, and Central Texas. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website (sapictureday.com) — not through our parent photo-delivery platform.
Information We Collect
When you fill out a contact form
We ask for your name, email address, phone number, and your school or studio name. You provide this voluntarily when you request a quote, schedule a visit, or send us a message.
Automatically when you visit this site
Our analytics tools collect standard technical information: pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser type, device type, and approximate location (city/region level from your IP address). Your IP address is not stored in identifiable form. No account or login is required to browse this site.
Analytics & Session Recording
This website uses the following third-party analytics services, which activate on every page load:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Measures traffic, page views, and form conversions. Google processes data under their own privacy terms.
- PostHog — Product analytics and session recording. PostHog records your browsing session on this site so we can identify usability issues and improve the experience. All form input fields are masked — PostHog never captures what you type into any field.
- Microsoft Clarity — Session recording and heatmaps. Clarity records mouse movement, clicks, and scroll behavior. Text inside form fields is masked.
- Vercel Analytics — Privacy-friendly page-view counting provided by our hosting provider. No personal data is stored.
We do not display a cookie consent banner. If you prefer not to have your session recorded, browser extensions such as uBlock Origin will block these services.
